Benjamin Pagel, 31, was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Art History from the University of Minnesota in 2000 after attending both the University of Minnesota and Kingston College in London, England. Upon graduating he returned to London for two years to pursue music and other creative pursuits. In 2003 he started work at Spunk Design Machine, initially as a copy writer, but now works as both copy writer and as associate creative director. He currently belongs to the One Club and has also been a One Club finalist multiple times as well as a AIGA Minnesota and AIGA National award winner.
Ben's creative direction was instrumental on a recent rebrand of the University of Minnesota Department of Dance. He has worked extensively in the discipline of motion graphics for clients like Q-BA-MAZE, Tank Goodness, and University of Minnesota. Outside of work he writes music for the Minneapolis based band Artifact Shore and is a patron of the arts. Ben has worked for clients such as Target, General Mills, Best Buy, Geek Squad, and University of Minnesota.
