Justin Paul Bartling Martinez moved to Minneapolis from South Dakota in 1996 where he attended the University of Minnesota for two years prior to attending the Arts Institute International. Justin began his internship at Spunk in 2004, after completing the year long internship program he was hired as a full time designer. At Spunk he has worked with clients such as: University of Minnesota Dance Department, University of Minnesota West Bank Arts Quarter, Q-BA-Maze, Target Corp, Rehkamp Larson Architects, Gunkelman Flesher, Share Save Spend, Fallon Worldwide, Disney, Microsoft, and REI. He has won numerous awards both regional and national from institutions such as AIGA, The Art Directors Club, Graphis, and The One Show.

Outside of work, Justin is active in music both as a club deejay and a member of the critically acclaimed band Artifact Shore. Justin is also the only fully honored Eagle Scout currently working at Spunk.
